In terms of SAP modules and components I primarily offer consulting for all needs of finance & controlling processes, meaning all components of “FI - Financial accounting (FI-AA Asset Accounting, FI-GL General Ledger, FI-LC Legal Consolidation, FI-AR Accounts Receivable, FI-AP Accounts Payable, FI-SL Special Ledger and CO - Controlling” (CO-OM Overhead Cost Management with the subcomponents -CCA Cost Center Accounting, -OPA Order and Project Accounting, -ABC Activity Based Costing , CO-PC Product Costing, CO-PA Profitability analysis), also including “ EC - Enterprise Controlling” (with the components EC-PCA Profit Center Accounting, EC-CS Management Consolidation, EC-BP Business Planning and EC-EIS Executive Information System), “IM - Investment Management” and all components of PS (the Project System), TR (Treasury),  “SEM - Strategic Enterprise Management” and “BW Business Warehouse Solution of SAP™” for reporting purposes.

IA further characteristic of my work is the combination of functional and technical consulting capabilities (which saves a lot of effort and provides much more possibilities). So am I very familiar with the Data Dictionary as the technical view of the enterprise data model and business objects, also with the ABAP/4 programming language for creating interfaces, internet connections, screen, menu and transaction programming. Additionally, I have already experienced the SAP Internet technologies, Business Information Warehouse and WEB Reporting. All this technical know-how enables me to implement business processes not only from the perspective of business needs, but also according to IT requirements. As everybody who knows and works daily with the R/3 software will propably agree, technical R/3 know-how is very helpful in figuring out undocumented features, tracking transaction problems, getting the required data out of the database directly and to find solutions how “impossible” business process demands still can be implemented. I have also successfully practised Remote Consulting and may thus offer to perform the major project work within my own office plus being on my clients premises whenever the communication or meetings makes it neccessary. This is especially feaseable in the project phase when the analysis is done and the implementation begins, maintenance purposes , also for work to be done on non-regular office-hours.

I am also very familiar with the major parts of SD, CS and MM, as well the basic PP features. This “multi view” makes me the ideal integration consultant either overlooking the implementation of the single modules or implementing complete business processes in a process oriented manner. In this context, it needs to be mentioned, that I have two years of experience in project management support itself.

My native language is German, additionally I speak English fluently, and I am currently learning French and Italian.

All my above described know-how is quite a lot and untypical for a single SAP R/3 consultant, where most of others just offer support for one particular module. But I can offer that variety, since I have started with R/3 already 1994 with release 2.1 and supported IT projects from 1987 on, in which I was involved in quite complex or similar ones, like the development of a mainframe operating system or other business administration software than R/3. With “computers” I have started 1981, at a time, when Microsoft’s software was still far away from being the industrial standard. I think, that I have a high talent in handling complex IT systems and issues. The ultimate proof are the numerous recommendations and confirmations of my former completely satisfied clients, which can be found under References.

As also mentioned in the Reference section, I find it more important to present letters of satisfied clients instead of education certificates. But in case it is of any importance, it has been officially certified by German authorities and a Munich university, that my level of know-how and education is comparable to an IT and business management science university degree. My consulting policy and attitute for all time and all matters, as far as my know-how and experience goes, is: being objective, providing know-how-transfer, sharing all information by means of a “bring-duty” to and with my client’s employees and project members, offer good team-work, conduct fairness and to advise my client about possible risks and when the focus is no longer on the actual reason, why SAP’s ™ software is being implemented: “better business performance and therefore more profit thru improved IT infrastructure”.

Being an independent consultant, who knows R/3 very well, I can be objective whenever certain R/3 functions should better not be used and be done with a different software, and also about issues and questions coming along with SAP’s Software products. During my project consulting, I follow the major target, what the projects should all be about: investing in the companies future and helping it to gain a better profit. I am convinced that an adequately improved IT infrastructure helps to increase revenue and sales, also to lower the expenditures.
Therefore, I have chosen to specialize myself in the mySAP.com Software, because I think it is the only software at this time (with no real competitor in sight), integrating all major needs of business processes for most industries.
